As a Joint Cybercrime Investigation Facilitation System, it serves multiple critical functions. With embedded AI/ML analytics, the platform will detect emerging threat vectors, decode criminal modus operandi, and unearth interlinked cyber syndicates. The fourth pillar is the establishment of the Cyber Fraud Mitigation Centre (CFMC)—a central operational hub embodying the principle of cooperative federalism. It brings together financial institutions, telecom service providers, social media platforms, fintech companies, and law enforcement agencies under one roof. The CFMC is built for action, not bureaucracy. Its mandate is to initiate immediate response protocols, including freezing fraudulent transactions, blocking mule bank accounts, deactivating spoofed websites and phishing pages, and circulating real-time threat alerts across the ecosystem. By integrating digital infrastructure players with regulatory and enforcement bodies, the CFMC is designed to preemptively strike at the root of cyber-financial crimes rather than react after damage is done.
